Brewers set for spring games (AUDIO)
It’s only been a week, but the Milwaukee Brewers will play their annual intrasquad game today, then Mike Fiers will start the teams exhibition opener tomorrow against the Oakland A’s.
Unlike springs past, many of the team’s top players are expected to get considerable playing time right out of the gate as they prepare for the upcoming World Baseball Classic.

1st baseman Mat Gamel is looking at a full season of rehab after he tore his ACL on the first day of full squad workouts. It’s the second straight season that Gamel is facing a painful comeback.
