Pitchers & Catchers report today
A sign that spring is right around the corner comes with Major League pitchers and catchers reporting to Spring Training Camps around the country today. Milwaukee Brewers pitchers and catchers report to their complex in Maryvale, Arizona and begin working out tomorrow.
The Brewers are going to have plenty of young pitchers competing for jobs. Only two spots in the rotation are settled with Yovani Gallardo and Marco Estrada occupying the top two spots. Several others, like Tyler Thornburg, Wily Peralta, Mark Rogers, Mike Fiers and lefty Chris Narveson are all in the mix for three openings in the rotation. Narveson is coming off of Tommy John surgery from last year.
Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy is confident with the young starting pitching.

The first workouts for the entire Brewers squad is Saturday in the Phoenix area.
