Green Bay women roll on
The Green Bay Phoenix held Wright State to 7% shooting from the field in the first half, rolling to a 70-48 win in Dayton, Ohio. Green Bay (16-2, 6-0 Horizon League) led 49-14 at halftime and swept the season series against the Raiders.
Redshirt junior Breannah Ranger scored 14 points to lead the Phoenix. Fellow post player Stephanie Sension added 13 points, while Lydia Bauer added 11.
The game marks the 13th time in 18 games this season that a team failed to score 50 points, but Wright State because the first team this season to not commit 17 or more turnovers. The Raiders finished with 14.
Green Bay returns home to host Illinois-Chicago at the Kress Center on Saturday (2pm).
