Brewers can't sweep Nationals, lose 7-4

The Washington Nationals (51-35) avoided the sweep by Milwaukee (37-47) by beating the Brewers 7-4 on Wednesday afternoon.  Milwaukee did take the series two games to one.  All four runs from the Brewers came in the thrid inning off of the bats of Scooter Gennett and Jonathan Lucroy.  Gennett also scored by stealing home off of a double steal with Lucroy on first.  Matt Garza (1-2) was awared the loss after giving up seven runs in 4 1/3 innings off of eight hits (three homeruns) and two walks while striking out two batters.
The Brewers next series starts on Friday at Miller Park versus the St. Louis Cardinals with pregame at 6:35pm and first pitch at 7:10pm on 1150 WHBY.
