Brewers Take Down Nationals

Milwaukee improved their record to 37-46 this season with a 5-2 victory over the Washington Nationals.  The Brewers were led by a strong pitching performance by Zach Davies.  He pitched 6.2 innings only allowing 2 earned runs and walking 1 batter with 3 strikeouts in the contest.  Leading the way offensively was Hernan Perez and Aaron Hill. Both hit 2-run homers and helped the Brewers edge the Nationals.  Aaron Hill ended with 3 RBI's.  Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy also went 2 for 4 in the contest.  To finish off the game, Jeremy Jeffress notched his 23rd save of the season.  Jonathan Lucroy has been awared a spot on this years All-Star team for the National League.  Ryan Braun has a chance to be on the All-Star team as he has been placed on the Final 5 All-Star vote.
