Brewers Blow Another Late Lead Fall to Dodgers

Matt Garza pitched six shutout innings but Will Smith gave up a solo home run in the 8th inning and then in the 9th, Tyler Thornburg walked Yasmani Grandal with the bases loaded and two outs to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 2-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in Los Angeles. Scooter Gennett accounted for the only Brewers run with a solo home run in the first inning. With the loss, the Brewers are now 31-29 on the season. Milwaukee has Monday off before they take on the Oakland Athletics Tuesday night in Oakland. News Talk 1150 WHBY will have the pre-game show at 8:30pm and first pitch at 9:05pm. Jimmy Nelson gets the start for the Brewers.
