Brewers fall to Reds

The Milwaukee Brewers had their six-game winning streak come to an end after falling to the Cincinnati Reds 6-3 on Sunday.

Brewers starter Jimmy Nelson (11-11) took the loss after giving up five runs over five innings, which included two-run home runs by Brandon Phillips and Jay Bruce in the third and fifth innings respectively.

Ryan Braun would also add his 25th home run of the season with his solo shot in the eighth.

The loss drops the Brewers record to 60-76 on the season.

The Brewers next travel to face the Miami Marlins on Monday.  Pregame begins at 11:35am, with first pitch at 12:10pm on 1150-WHBY.
