This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, April 27th, 2016.  Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson joined host Marc Drewek and his outdoors sidekick Randy Brochtrup for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show.  Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as the spring outdoors season continues.  The guys started the show talking about the recent mentored turkey hunt that they participated in.  The guys also touched on the new Go Wild system in relation to turkey hunting, and what you need to know when registering your kill.  Later, Marc and Randy talked about the recently held DNR spring hearings, and what took place at the meeting they went to in Waupaca County.  Ryan then capped the show talking about an important invasive species known as the Round Goby, and what to do when you encounter them while fishing.  They can't be used as fishing bait, and can do damage to aquatic life/species if left ignored.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, April 13th, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek would welcome back his outdoors sidekick Randy Brochtrup, and spend the hour talking about the recent Waupaca County Deer Advisory Council (CDAC) vote to unanimously ban buck hunting this season. The vote means that it's antlerless kills only during both bow and gun season in the county.  Marc and Randy shared their opinions, along with taking several calls from listeners on the topic.  Coming up April 18th- 21st, CDACs in every county across the state will meet with the public for final recommendations. You can find meeting dates in your county at the Wisconsin DNR website.  Coming up April 19th at 7 p.m, the CDAC will hold a public forum meeting at Waupaca High School for Waupaca County residence.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, April 6th, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek spent the hour talking turkey hunting, as the season's just begun arcross parts of Wisconsin.  Marc brought back on an old firend of the show and turkey hunting enthusiast/expert Carl Luedke.  They spent most of the show talking about an upcoming turkey hunt the two are taking to Wyoming.  Carl also shared tactics and tips throughout the show, while dropping some memories on some of their past hunts.  (REMINDER: In every county across the state on April 11th at 7pm, the statewide DNR spring hearings take place and they're open to the public to participate.  Check the Wisconsin DNR website for the location in your county to attend.)

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, March 30th, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek first welcomed in A.J. Dudek and Mark Derricks, of the Excel Outdoors Sportsmans Banquet held at Appleton Alliance Church on Saturday April 9th.  They spent time talking about the banquet and how you can attend.  Marc then shared an interview he recently did with Pat and Nicole Reeve of Driven TV on the Outdoor Channel.  Marc caught up with them both and talked about a variety of topics since their last encounter.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, March 16th, 2016.  Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson joined host Marc Drewek for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show.  Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as the spring outdoors season's about to come.  The guys would take the first half of the show talking about the new Go Wild licencing system that's now in effect.  The guys then talked about Walleye fishing, then fishing in general and what you need to know if your heading out on the water.  Ryan would follow talking about the Winnebago system, and how it's actually defined by the DNR and where the borders of the system lie.  The guys then wrapped up talking about some spring hearings coming up for the public to participate in.  For Outagamie County, there's a County Deer Advisory Council meeting at the Outagamie Conservation Club on March 24th starting at 7pm.  On April 11th at 7pm, in every county across the state are the statewide DNR spring hearings held again for the public to attend and participate.  Also throughout the show, we paid tribute to Dallas and Mitch Seavey along with the entire J.J. Keller Iditerod Racing team, for winning the 2016 Iditerod in Alaska this past week.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, March 9th, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek would welcome back on an old friend of the show, now former Wisconsin DNR Warden Mike Young.  Marc also brought back Steve Dabler of Wolf River Game Farm near Shiocton, WI.  The guys would get into spring bird hunting for the hour, and shared their various experiences in bird hunting.  Later on they brought up an event coming up this weekend Saturday March 12th at Wolf River Game Farm called the Ron and Ron's Pheasant/Chucker Championship, and talked about what it entails along with how you can participate in this awesome event.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek welcomed back his outdoors sidekick Randy Brochtrup, to share their thoughts and opinions on a variety of outdoor related topics for the hour.  Among the topics discussed were: the wrap of the 2016 sturgeon spearing season, the new Wisconsin DNR "Go Wild" license system, the Oscar-nominated movie The Revenant, and the 2016 Iditarod in Alaska beginning this weekend.  Defending Iditarod champion Dallas Seavey will look for another title in Alaska as his sponsor and friend of the show J.J. Keller will be there again for the weeklong race.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, February 24th, 2016.  Host Marc Drewek would start things off talking ice fishing, and the current conditions to be aware of around the Winnebago system.  Marc then brought on Lee Haasch, of Haasch Guide Service in Algoma Wisconsin, to talk ice fishing with us and also what his guide service has to offer.  Marc later replayed an interview he had with Duffy kopf of Nebulus Emergency Floatation, talking ice safety and what Nebulus has to offer for products to help protect you when out on the ice.  Marc would then wrap up with some early turkey hunting chatter with Scott Roon, organizer of the upcoming Learn to Turkey Hunt program that's happening April 2nd.  Scott shared with us his passion for turkey hunting and how he's able to share it through the upcoming turkey hunt also put on by Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson.

This is your Living the Outdoors Show from Wednesday, February 17th, 2016.  Wisconsin DNR Warden Ryan Propson joined host Marc Drewek for your monthly "Ask a Game Warden" show.  Your chance to be heard on outdoor related topics with your questions and comments as the winter outdoors season continues.  The guys started off talking about the sturgeon spearing season currently happening on the Winnebago system.  They touched on the harvest numbers, along with what the current conditions are and what to expect going foward.  They also spent a good amount of time talking about the new licencing system that's beginning March 1st called Go Wild, that can be previewed at the Wisconsin DNR website.  Later, they also touched on the upcoming mentored adult turkey hunt on April 2nd, with a classroom session scheduled for March 18th.  The guys then wrapped up talking about the current investigation into the recently poached deer near Shiocton, and are asking those with more information about the incident to contact local authorties at 1-800-TIP-WDNR.
